About Me

Hi, my name is Katie, I'm a full member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), having studied for 3 years at the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM). I graduated with a Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture and am thoroughly enjoying such a rewarding profession.

Like many others, my interest in acupuncture stemmed from a personal experience of not getting a diagnosis or any progress in managing a long-term illness. I was fortunate to be introduced to a fellow acupuncturist who then proceeded to treat me successfully. During this time, my interest in holistic medicine increased to the extent of wanting to be able to share this approach with others and the rest as they say is history!

To supplement the effectiveness of treating musculoskeletal problems, I undertook a further qualification and gained my BTEC Level 5 Professional Diploma in Sports Massage and Remedial Soft Tissue Therapy from the London School of Sports Massage (LSSM).
